Severstal Distribution increased sales by almost one fifth

In the first quarter of 2016, the Severstal Distribution group of companies increased sales to 350 thousand tons, compared to the same period last year by 18 percent. The distribution network from January to March 2016 sold 14 percent of the total volume of the Severstal Russian Steel division.

Sales of the European companies Severstal Group Distribution in the first quarter of 2016 increased by 27 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 150 thousand tons. The increase in sales was noted in the Baltic States and Finland, but the main increase was recorded in Eastern Europe - in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Sales volume of AO Severstal Distribution in Russia increased by 7 percent compared to the first quarter of 2015 and amounted to 170 thousand tonnes. Deliveries increased in all target federal districts of Russia: Central, North-West and Volga. Severstal Distribution companies in Ukraine and Belarus sold 30 thousand tons, an increase of 63 percent.

The level of sales of high value-added products produced by the service centers of the Severstal Distribution Group in Russia and Europe for the reporting period amounted to 87 thousand tons, increasing this amount by 1/3 compared to the same period last year.
