On May 19, the Russian oil company Lukoil began construction of a new lubricants plant in Kazakhstan in the Almaty region. The cost of the facility will reach at least $ 85 million.
In addition, this year, 30 foreign investors plan to launch new production facilities in Kazakhstan. For example, the Italian corporation Tenaris will begin production of oil pipes in July, the Eurochem company will start building a fertilizer plant, the Cremonini corporation is going to build a meat processing plant, and it is also planned to build residential buildings. The implementation of new projects is associated with the use of high-quality building materials, including timber, round timber, edged boards and other sawn timber on http://lesopt.kz/ directly from a domestic manufacturer.
The production capacity of the new lubricants plant will be 100 thousand tons per year, with the possibility of increasing the output to 130 thousand tons. The products to be produced by the new plant must meet the best international standards.
The facility is being built in the Almaty region and will be located in close proximity to the Western Europe-Western China transport corridor, given that the Kazakh section is scheduled to be completed in 2016. The location at the crossroads of the most important transport routes creates ideal conditions for the plant for sales not only to the domestic market, but also to the countries of Central Asia, as well as to China, Mongolia and Afghanistan.
