According to the latest statistics released by the World Steel Association, the global crude steel output of the 66 countries reporting to the Association totaled 134.906 million tonnes in April this year. Monthly output was down marginally 0.5 percent from April last year. These 66 countries accounted for about 99 percent of total global crude steel production in 2015.
