Russia could export up to 500,000 tons of grain to China in 2016, Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev said.
“China has opened up the grain market for us. We entered and will now resolve issues by volume. About half a million tons of grain can be exported this year, mainly wheat and barley ”.
He added that there were long negotiations with China on the supply of meat products, pork, beef and poultry from Russia.
The Russian government delegation headed by President Vladimir Putin resolved these issues during an official visit to China.
