Rostislav Shurma, General Director of PJSC Zaporizhstal, topped the all-Ukrainian rating TOP-100. Best Top Managers of Ukraine ”, which was conducted by the business publication“ Delo ”.

The nominees of the rating were assessed according to a unified system designed to reflect the objective market situation and show the best managers in the country. The editorial board of the business publication "Delo" made the rating based on the analysis of the dynamics of the financial indicators of enterprises and companies in 2015, as well as expert estimates. In addition, when compiling the rating, the votes of the readers of the Delo.UA portal were taken into account.

“This is a common victory for the entire team of the plant, the people whose work helps our company to develop steadily and make a significant contribution to the economy of the city, the region and the whole of Ukraine,” said Rostislav Shurma, General Director of Zaporizhstal PJSC.

According to the results of the work of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" in 2015, the production of pig iron amounted to 3.8 million tons, steel - 3.98 million tons, rolled products - 3.35 million tons, the supply of metal products for export increased to 2.9 million tons in comparison with the previous year (2.7 million tons in 2014), or 6.2%. Based on the results of work in 2015, Zaporizhstal PJSC increased tax transfers to the budgets of all levels by 73% (by UAH 1.05 billion), having paid the state UAH 2.5 billion. taxes.

In 2015, PJSC Zaporizhstal continued modernization and reconstruction of production equipment - new gas cleaning units for sintering machines No. 3-4 were built and connected, extended overhaul with elements of reconstruction of blast furnace No. 2 was carried out, energy-saving projects were actively implemented.
