The Kremlin is alarmed and fearful of destabilization in Russia's border regions. Since both countries, Kazakhstan and Armenia, are considered close allies and are located directly on the borders of Russia.

“Of course, the crisis on our borders is alarming and we are keeping the situation under control. The security of the country at the borders is ensured with the help of an appropriate level. Nevertheless, the necessary measures will be taken in the light of the recent reports, ”the TASS news agency reported, citing the Kremlin’s press service. In addition, the events in Turkey also pose a threat to the border regions of Russia. However, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Turkey are considered separately.
