Azerbaijan's state-owned company SOCAR has won the tender of the Ukrainian Railways (PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia) for the purchase through the Trading House of the Ukrainian subsidiary of SOCAR (SOCAR Energy Ukraine) 14.08 thousand tons of diesel fuel worth more than $ 10 million, media reported Ukraine. SOCAR also confirmed this information without specifying the supply period.
SOCAR noted that “there is no exact information on the timing and distribution of supplies yet; whether it will be one batch or more; the issue will be worked out in the near future. "
In the first half of this year, SOCAR exported 389.22 thousand tons of diesel fuel, which exceeds 491.85 thousand tons, exports for the same period in 2015. In Ukraine, SOCAR is represented by SOCAR Energy Ukraine, which also owns fifty-eight filling stations in the country.
