The European Commission announced on Thursday that it is introducing final anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled steel from China and Russia. The responsibilities are valid for five years.

Interim duties were introduced on February 12 this year, and the final duties were announced on Thursday. For the first time, the decision will have an effect on products that are imported into the EU for two months before the introduction of provisional duties.
Cold rolled flat products are used, among others, in the automotive, construction and household appliances industries.
Currently, EU anti-dumping measures and measures to combat import subsidies have been introduced on 37 steel products, of which 15 are products from China. The Commission is to conduct 12 more anti-dumping proceedings against this sector.
