The first city festival of science, technology and modern technologies Interpipe TechFest will be held in Dnipro on September 17-18

Interpipe Company initiated the first technical festival in Dnipro. Interpipe TechFest will bring together robots and drones, 3D printers and the Internet of Things, spectacular experiments and technical hobbies on one platform. Everything can be seen and tested on September 17 - 18 at the Avalanche amusement park.

Dnipro is not accidentally called the city of engineers. Paton and Pisarzhevsky, Yangel and Makarov worked here. In Dnipro, missiles are designed and manufactured, large metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, many IT companies operate. The future of the Dnieper lies with engineering and natural sciences. The Interpipe TechFest aims to stimulate interest in engineering and technology, and raise the importance and prestige of engineering as a profession.

11 interactive locations of the festival will present modern engineering in a popular and accessible way. Visitors will be able to learn how to assemble robots, pilot drones, see and take part in spectacular experiments. For fans of cool technical hobbies, an exhibition of auto /aircraft /rocket models, master classes on creating guided prototypes awaits. Do-it-yourself (DIY) fans will be able to test new items of power tools and control the elements of a smart home.

For fans of extreme sports - drone races on an inclined track, mini-drone battles and RC off-road races.

The field of technical education will also be presented at the festival - leading schools and universities of the city will show the developments of their students. The festival program includes an open lecture hall, which will be held in the popular TED format “just about complicated things”. Scientists, engineers and journalists will talk about landmark scientific discoveries, show that you can print on a 3D printer, and much more.
