China's Ministry of Commerce said it was lifting anti-dumping duties on seamless stainless steel pipes imported from Japan and the European Union.
Anti-dumping duties on imports of stainless seamless pipes from Japan and the EU have been imposed since November 9, 2012, the ministry said on its website. Responsibilities ranged from 9.2 percent to 14.4 percent in line with the supply level.
On June 20, the ministry notified the domestic steel industry that anti-dumping measures need to be reviewed. The metallurgical industry has withdrawn its annexes to continue levying anti-dumping duties on imports of these products from Japan and the EU. Therefore, the ministry decided to end the anti-dumping duties, according to the statement.
