The Mexican Ministry of Economy announced the extension of countervailing duties on imports of steel plate for Russia, Romania and Ukraine for more than five years. This period began on September 22, 2015.
According to a previous resolution of the Mexican government, for imported steel from Russia and Ukraine with a boron content of 0.0008%, a countervailing duty for Russia of 36.8% will be applied; for Ukraine the duty is 60.1%; for Romania - 67.6%.
