Outokumpu Finland released an operating report for the 2nd quarter (April-June), according to which the company's stainless steel shipments totaled 629,000 tonnes, an increase of 2.1% from 616,000 tonnes in the same period last year.
In addition, the company's chrome sales totaled 34,000 tonnes in the 2nd this year, up 47.8% from 23,000 tonnes in the same period last year.
