Refined copper production in China jumped 7.2 percent in September from a year earlier, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
Refined copper output was 725,000 tons in September and 6,223,000 tons between January and September, an increase of 8.4 percent year on year. Aluminum production in September amounted to 2,750,100 tons, having an increase of 1.2, but during 9 months it decreased by 1.4 to 23,439,000 tons.
Lead output increased 5.0 percent to 358,000 tonnes in September and 6.6 percent to 3,193,000 tonnes in nine months. Zinc production was 551,000 tons, up 2.8 percent, but fell 0.1 percent to 4,621,000 tons from January to September.
Iron ore production fell 6.9 percent to 118,927,000 in September and 3.2 percent to 941,209,000 tons in the nine months.
