Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election raises concerns that after taking office, he will undo the achievements of President Barack Obama in the fight against global warming.
The president-elect does not believe in the climate change policy, or at least he considers it a "scam." During the election campaign, Trump said that if he became president, he would simply "deal with" the Federal Environmental Protection Agency, which, in his opinion, was placing a very heavy burden on American businesses, and would also cancel the Paris agreement on climate change.
Donald Trump, during one of the discussions, said about the need to restore jobs in the steel industry. According to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the lack of support for the manufacturing industry in the United States has cost the steel industry 15,000 jobs and thousands more remain at risk.
Climate policy could be Trump government's first casualty
