The European Commission announced that an anti-dumping investigation has been launched against the import of corrosion-resistant steel from China on behalf of eight corrosion-resistant steel manufacturers, which account for 53% of the total production of similar products in the EU, following a statement from the European Association of Steel Producers.
The investigation examines the period from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. The European Commission will take a preliminary decision on the case within nine months from the date of this notice.
