According to the statistics of the Association of Turkish Steel Producers, in November this year, Turkey's crude steel production decreased by 2.1% compared to last month, but increased by 10.4% compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the volume of steel output from electric arc furnaces increased by 15.4% compared to the same period last year. Total Turkish crude steel production rose 1.5% year-on-year.
In January-November this year, Turkish crude steel production amounted to about 31 million tons, an increase of 5.1% over the same period last year.
