Brazil cut crude steel production nearly 5 percent year on year to 2.43 million metric tons for the month of November this year, up from 2.55 million tons a year earlier, according to the latest figures from Aco Brasil.
In addition, crude steel production in November fell 10.7 percent from 2.72 million tonnes produced in October this year.
Brazilian steel production fell 8.8 percent to 28.1 million in January-November this year, compared with 30.8 million tons in the same period in 2015.
