China's PMI is at its highest level since 2013 according to the latest results.
Industrial production in China rose stronger-than-expected, thanks to increased demand in December last year. The Caixin /Markit Purchasing Managers Index released on Tuesday rose one point to 51.9 on a seasonally adjusted basis from November.
This was the highest level since January 2013. In addition, the index rose for the sixth consecutive month. At the same time, analysts expected it to reach 50.7 points.
