The largest redeployment of the US Army in Europe begins

Last week, the unloading of equipment from an armored brigade of a US military battle group began in the German port of Bremerhaven. American soldiers began to arrive in Poland as part of Operation Resolve. On Thursday, a convoy of American soldiers marching to Zagan left Germany and crossed the Polish border. A US contingent and a tank brigade passed the Olshin border crossing east of Cottbus. An advance detachment will proceed in the coming days, including 87 Abrams tanks and 500 heavily armed transporters. This is one of the largest US military redeployments in Europe since the end of the Cold War, going from Germany to Poland.
