According to statistics from the Association of Russia Special Steels, Russia imported 32.076 tonnes of stainless steel products in December last year, up 1.8% from the previous month.
Imports of stainless steel sheet in Russia fell 4% from the previous month. At the same time, imports of seamless stainless steel pipes rose 157.2% from a month earlier. Imports of welded stainless pipes were up 13.1% month-on-month.
Meanwhile, imports of stainless steel bars declined 7.8% month-on-month.
