China's crude steel production was 67.2 million tonnes in January 2017, unchanged from December 2016, up 7.4% from the same period in 2016, according to the World Steel Association.
Daily steel production remained at 2.168 million tonnes, unchanged from December 2016. For eight consecutive months, Chinese steel production has exceeded 60 million tonnes.
