According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in January, wire rod exports from the country amounted to 148,790 tons, an increase of 106.4% over the same period last year and 111.4% over the previous month. At the same time, exports generated US $ 65 million, an increase in monetary terms by 121% compared to the previous month, and by 163% compared to the same period last year.
Turkey exported 23,106 tonnes of wire rod to the United States, up 292.89% from the same period last year. The Netherlands follows with 20,000 tonnes. Israel imported 14,378 tons, up 98.95% over the same period last year.
