ArcelorMittal plans to invest about $ 3.17 million in new production at its steel plant in the north-eastern region of the Czech Republic. The funds will be used for the production and reconstruction of spring steel in Ostrava. The redevelopment project will ensure the best performance of spring steels used in the automotive and commercial transport industries.
The company developed this high-quality value-added product last year, which is based on the Ostrava smelting furnace. Earlier, the daily newspaper Hospodarske Noviny quoted the director of ArcelorMittal Aditya Mittal as saying: “We want to create a new steel plant in Ostrava that will use modern technology. We look forward to making significant investments. "
