The Gazprom Neft Council announced that it plans to allocate 25.3 percent of the profit received last year for dividends. Profit of Gazprom Neft in accordance with international financial reporting standards amounted to 200.2 billion rubles. Of this amount, shareholders will receive 50.64 billion rubles. This will mean that 10.68 rubles per share.
The actual amount of dividends will be decided by shareholders at the ninth general meeting, scheduled for June in St. Petersburg. Planned dividends will be record high. Last year the company paid 6.47 rubles per share.
In accordance with the dividend policy of the company, and according to international standards, at least 15 percent of the profit is provided to shareholders. However, in recent years, the company has allocated about 25 percent of its profits to shareholders.
The main shareholder of Gazprom Neft is Gazprom, which controls over 95 percent of the company's shares.
