According to the latest statistics released by the World Steel Association, the global crude steel output of 67 countries was 144.953 million tonnes in March this year. The monthly issue was up 4.6% from its release in the same month a year earlier. These 67 countries accounted for approximately 99% of total global crude steel production in 2016.
