The Mexican Ministry of Economy will reintroduce a 29.3% anti-dumping tax on Russian steel imports within five years. Customs product codes 7208.10.02, 7208.25.99, 7208.37.01 and 7225.30.03.
The petition was submitted to the Mexican metallurgical company Ternium and AHMSA. This is the first time that companies have made such an appeal. However, the country implemented 29.3% anti-dumping duties back in 1996.
