PJSC "Zaporizhstal" improves working conditions for employees

PJSC "Zaporizhstal" in the framework of a comprehensive program to improve working conditions for employees of the enterprise installs climate systems in production and household premises. In 2017, the plant will allocate about UAH 4 million for these purposes.

Particular attention will be paid to ensuring optimal temperature conditions for crane operators operating in high temperature conditions. The plant will install 11 modern crane air conditioners of the latest generation in the steelmaking process, the hot-rolling shop for the thin sheet, the cold-rolling shop No. 1 and the train preparation shop. Reliable, more powerful and compact climatic systems, designed taking into account the work in industrial premises, will replace outdated analogues and will create an optimal microclimate for workers in hot weather. The plant will allocate UAH 3 million for these purposes.

To create comfortable working conditions at the plant, 100 split systems have already been installed in utility rooms, dining rooms, rest rooms, and others. For these purposes, the plant has allocated about 1 million hryvnia. During the year, work on equipping the divisions with climatic systems will continue.

As a reminder, since June 1, 2017, workers' wages at PJSC Zaporizhstal have been increased by 20% and is one of the highest among the enterprises of the domestic mining and metallurgical complex.
