Australia launches anti-dumping investigation on wire imports from three countries

According to the Australian Anti-Dumping Committee, Australia has launched an anti-dumping investigation on wire imports from Indonesia, South Korea and Vietnam.

Products that were served to Australian consumers were shipped below regular prices in Australia. As a result of low prices and dumping, the Australian industry suffered significant damage, resulting in declining sales and market share, lost profits and reduced profitability.
