The Chinese are interested in Zaporizhstal

PJSC "Zaporizhstal" in the framework of the development of partnership relations between the twin cities of Zaporozhye and Yichang (PRC) was visited by a delegation headed by Deputy Mayor Zhou Zhenying.

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the projects for the environmental modernization of the plant, including: a new pickling line in cold rolling shop No. 1, modernization of gas cleaning units of the sinter plant, a unique project for the reconstruction of blast furnace No. 3 with an investment of UAH 1.5 billion.

“Even the world leaders in the metallurgical industry - China - we have something to surprise. The plant has invested a lot in the modernization of production over the past few years. We have exemplary workshops and facilities that even world leaders in metal production can learn from. And we are always ready to learn something from them, ”stressed Rostislav Shurma, General Director of Zaporizhstal PJSC.

Representatives of the city of Yichang visited the central dispatching office of the enterprise, where the multi-level production management system "Enterprise in the palm of your hand" was implemented online. We also got acquainted with an example of successful implementation of one of the projects of large-scale environmental modernization - a new pickling line NTA-4 in cold rolling shop No. 1.

During the meeting, Deputy Mayor of Yichang (PRC) Zhou Zhenying noted that the Zaporizhstal plant impressed with its large-scale and dynamic changes.

“I didn’t expect to see such a modern and developed enterprise. I can say with confidence that the future of Ukraine lies with such enterprises. We are interested in close fruitful cooperation, ”said Deputy Mayor of Yichang Zhou Zhenying.

Recall that PJSC Zaporizhstal, according to the technological strategy aimed at environmental modernization, has invested 5.7 billion hryvnia in the development and renovation of production since 2012.

The delegation of the city of Ichan (PRC) visited the city of Zaporozhye in the framework of a partnership agreement on cooperation, which was concluded between the cities in 1997.
