PJSC "Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant" held a meeting of the management with representatives of trade unions and city authorities

On June 26 at 15.00 in the assembly hall of the engineering building, a joint meeting of the administration of Dnipro Metallurgical Plant PJSC and the trade union activists of the enterprise - chairmen of shop committees, trade union activists of structural divisions of both trade unions of DMK, PPO Metallurgov and PPO Metallistov took place. Representatives of the city authorities attended the meeting.

The meeting of directors with trade unions took place on a constructive wave. The general director of the enterprise, Vyacheslav Mospan, provided the trade union leaders of labor collectives with detailed information regarding the financial condition of the plant at the moment and the amount of economic investments required to start production. Thus, the figure announced as a "starting point" for ensuring the operation of the plant with three furnaces so that production is profitable, today is about $ 150 million one-time.

Konstantin Nesvet, Production and Supply Director, made a report on the state of the equipment and the readiness of the main units of the plant for launch. He announced that for the first 10 days of operation of the enterprise with two furnaces, we have a stock of raw materials for the production of sinter - but on condition that no later than 3 days after the blowing of the furnaces, coal or skew fines will begin to flow to the plant. The issue that will need to be resolved before the launch of the main equipment is the provision of the main lines of the plant with natural gas, the supply of which is now blocked due to debts of the DMK.

Technical Director Yuri Voloshin in his report dwelt in detail on the repairs carried out in the shops of the plant during the downtime by the repair services of the plant.

HR Director Anatoly Polivoda - on the problem of retaining qualified personnel in structural divisions. He also recommended, by the end of this month, shop managers provide personnel management with information on how many of their subordinates out of “two-thirds” could potentially not come to work at the time of the plant's launch. This information is needed to create a realistic picture of the workforce available in the enterprise.

The meeting was attended by the first deputy mayor Alexander Chernyshov - in his speech he emphasized the importance of the work of the city-forming enterprise for the well-being of the entire city community and assured that the city authorities are ready to do everything in their power to help the plant and metallurgists. The proposals received will be worked out at the level of the city authorities.

The leaders of the trade union organizations of the plant - the chairman of the PPO Metallurgov Oleg Nagorny and the deputy chairman of the PPO Metallistov Valery Sevastyanov also spoke in front of the hall.
