For the first time in its history, Ukraine has signed a contract with the United States to import coal from this country. This will alleviate energy shortages from cutting off coal supplies controlled by separatists in eastern Ukraine.
The contract signed in mid-July between the American coal producer Xcoal and the Ukrainian state-owned company "Centrenergo" was announced on July 31
The contract indicated that the first ship will deliver the first batch of 85,000 tons of coal to Ukraine in early September, and the total coal trading between the two countries will reach 700,000 tons by the end of this year.
All companies in the world are taking advantage of the situation with high coal prices, making profits.
