Copper prices fluctuate on the London Metal Exchange. However, it could be the fourth week that copper ends with a decline in prices. So far, metal on the LME in 3-month deliveries is worth $ 6,423.50 per tonne, but earlier it lost 0.7% to $ 6,394.00 per tonne.
There is a large stock of this metal on the copper market, which does not contribute to an increase in its quotations. Metal traders fear an escalating dispute between the US and North Korea over increasingly dangerous rhetoric on both sides and the dumping of copper stored in South Korean ports.
Monthly price on the LME in London ended up USD 24 higher from USD 6 437 per tonne, but the last 3 weeks copper price has ended lower.
