PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" reduced annual steel production and rolled products output

Pig iron production at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih in 2017 amounted to 5.6 million tons against 6.1 million tons in 2016, rolled stock - 5.1 million tons against 5.5 million tons of equivalent steel (taking into account casting and production commercial pig iron) - 6.35 million tons against 7 million tons last year.

“The past year was not easy for the largest mining and metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine, it had to face many difficulties in the implementation of the production program. Because of this, it was not possible to repeat the record indicators of 2016, but on the whole the enterprise worked successfully, at the level of 2015, ”the press service of the plant noted.

“Manufacturing steel in accordance with environmental requirements and standards has been and remains our priority. In 2018, we intend to complete a number of investment projects and start new ones, while maintaining production at the level of the previous year, ”noted Andrey Dmitriev, acting Head of the Controlling Department of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih".
