ArcelorMittal Poland's Donbrowa Gornicza office is undertaking further projects that will reduce the plant's environmental impact. We are talking about the construction of three electrostatic precipitators, including one for the transshipment point of coke and iron ore. Investments in the amount of about PLN 30 million are expected this year.
The implemented projects will allow replacing the existing dust collection devices with modern solutions. Their dust removal efficiency in collected electrostatic precipitators reaches 99.95 percent.
The construction of electrostatic precipitators is part of an investment package of PLN 700 million implemented in the Dąbrowa melting boiler. It includes the construction of a new dust extraction system for sinter systems.
