In China, zinc production in July fell 3.5% year on year to 439,000 tons, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday, the lowest monthly total since August 2013.
At the same time, the volume of copper production in July rose by 11.8% year on year to 732 thousand tons. China's alumina output in July rose 8.3% year-on-year to 5.81 million tonnes, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
Iron ore production in July fell by 4.3% on an annualized level to 64.76 million tons, according to the statistical office.
