PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" will provide city schools with over 1000 computers

The PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih Charitable Foundation donated 220 computers to 13 schools and the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children in the Saksagan District. School principals received certificates for computer equipment this morning at the administration of the Saksagan district.

To improve the material and technical base of schools in Kryvyi Rih, to make the education of schoolchildren more efficient and modern, PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" decided to provide educational institutions with computers in four districts of the city where the production facilities of the enterprise are located.

Saksagansky district was the first to receive the equipment. Yesterday the computers were delivered to the Metallurgical District (including the Krivoy Rog Economic Institute), and a little later they will be sent to the schools of the Ingulets and Shirokovsky districts. In total, in the near future, 355 sets of computer equipment (monitor, system unit, mouse, keyboard and a set of wires for connection) will be transferred to the educational institutions of the city. And by the end of the academic year, PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" will provide the city's schools with about 1000 computers.

“We strive for our assistance to be targeted, aimed at the development of children, without whose quality education it is difficult to imagine our future - a country, a city, or a separate region. Today this education is inconceivable without computers and modern technical means. If we can somehow help in this, then we try not to miss the opportunity to improve the material and technical base of schools.

In addition, we will continue our educational projects, previously available only for the children of the company's employees. Since September, we have been opening free Schools of English and IT technologies for all residents of the city, regardless of their place of work - PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is allocating UAH 2 million for this. Now everyone can register their child for training.
