Leading steelmaker, ArcelorMittal, has been honored with two awards for the industry's largest energy management effort on a variety of projects. The company's American businesses, through various innovative energy conservation measures, have resulted in savings of approximately US $ 257 million per year since the foundation was established in 2006.
ArcelorMittal Cleveland is the first integrated steel mill in the United States to be awarded the highest honor. The award is recognized for the development of systems and methods aimed at improving energy efficiency at the site.
