In August 2018, PrJSC Electrometallurgical Plant DNEPROSPETSSTAL named after I. A.N. Kuzmin ”delivered 20,999 tons of steel, which is 3.0% higher than the level of the previous month. During the same period, the Company produced 14,034 tons of rolled metal, which is 8.6% more than in July 2018.
The total cost of commercial products manufactured in August 2018 amounted to UAH 849,861 thousand. (at current prices). This is 7.4% more than last month.
For eight months of 2018, the Company delivered 168,808 tons of steel (1.9% less than in the same period last year) and produced 112,359 tons of rolled steel (0.5% less than in the same period last year).
For eight months of 2018, the production of commercial products amounted to UAH 6,525,769 thousand, which is 25% more than in the same period in 2017.
Given the upward trend in the cost of resources based on the results of work for the period January-August 2018, the profitability indicator for the plant is negative.
