According to a report by the Iranian Ministry of Mines and Reconstruction (IMIDRO), production of iron ore concentrate in Iran increased by 19 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21) compared to the same period last year.
Iran produced 18.42 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate in the five months to 22 August, according to a recent report from IMIDRO, IRIB reported on September 18.
During the same period last year, 15.54 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate were produced.
The Golgohar mining and industrial complex produced 6.61 million tons of all products, followed by the Chadormalu mining and processing plant with 3.72 million tons, the Central Iron Ore of Iran company - 2.26 million tons, the Middle East Holding - 2 , 09 million tons, Goarzama Iron Ore Company with 1.83 million tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1.83 million tons.
