Russian steelmaker NLMK Group signed long-term strategic partnership agreements with leading manufacturers of transformer components: Enpay (Turkey), KRYFS (India) and National Material Company (NMC, USA).
The agreements mean that NLMK Group will regularly supply transformer steel from its production sites in Lipetsk and Yekaterinburg and offer extended technical support. All parties agreed to expand cooperation in the development of new products and market entry.
NLMK Group, which owns 10% of the global transformer steel market, manufactures products at its production sites in Lipetsk and Yekaterinburg.
Enpay manufactures transformer components at factories in Turkey, India, Slovakia and Bulgaria. Its products are exported to more than 50 countries around the world, and its customers include ABB, GE and Siemens.
KRYFS is India's leading manufacturer of electrical components for transformers and has nine manufacturing facilities for distribution and power transformers. KRYFS supplies its products to Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The National Material Company (NMC) is one of the largest independent service centers in North America. NMC operates 10 manufacturing plants and service centers located in the United States and Mexico to meet the manufacturing needs of customers in a wide variety of markets.
