Sergey Plichko became the new CFO of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih"

Sergei Plichko has been approved as Chief Financial Officer of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. Since February 2017, he has been acting as the chief financial officer of the enterprise. His tasks include financial management, cash support for the operating and investment activities of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, interaction with tax authorities and financial institutions, as well as participation in strategic planning of the company's development.

Sergei Plichko began his work at the company in 2000 as an auditor, then worked as a deputy chief accountant for methodology. In November 2007, he was appointed Head of the Accounting and Reporting Methodology Department. Responsible for the development and implementation of the company's accounting policy, participated in the implementation of the SAP ERP system.

In 2011, Serhiy Plichko took the position of Chief Executive Officer for Accounting and Reporting of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. Responsible for the optimization of the accounting service, as well as business processes for accounting and financial reporting.

In 2014, Sergey Plichko was transferred to the position of General Director of Nikmet-Terminal Stevedoring Company LLC (Nikolaev Commercial Sea Port). Under his leadership, a project was completed for the construction of a covered warehouse for a special type of product of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" - blue fittings. The project for the construction of a new warehouse was carried out in the framework of a public-private partnership. Also, during that period, the lease term of the state property of the Nikolaev Commercial Sea Port was extended by ten years and the EBITDA of Nikmet-Terminal was increased by more than 50% (compared to 2013).

Serhiy Plichko graduated from Kiev National University with a degree in Accounting and Auditing and received a diploma in economics.
