In September 2018, PrJSC Electrometallurgical Plant DNEPROSPETSSTAL named after I. A.N. Kuzmina ”smelted 19,343 tons of steel, which is 7.9% less than last month. During the reporting period, 13,229 tons of rolled metal were produced, which is 5.7% less than in August 2018.
The total cost of products manufactured in September 2018 amounted to UAH 741,852 thousand. (at current prices). This is 12.7% less than last month.
In the first nine months of 2018, the Company delivered 188,151 tons of steel (2.3% less than in the same period last year) and produced 125,588 tons of rolled products (0.9% less than in the same period last year).
For the nine months of 2018, the production of commercial products amounted to UAH 7,267,621 thousand, which is 23.5% more than the same period in 2017.
Nevertheless, the increase in the cost of resources based on the results of work for the period January-September 2018 provided a negative profitability of the plant.
