There is no doubt about which country is the largest steel producer in the entire world. And this diagram graphically depicts the situation of global steel production.
According to the World Steel Association, China accounted for 51% of all global steel production between 2018 and August.
For comparison: India and Japan in second and third places, respectively, accounted for only 6% of world production during this period.
