Severstal announces an increase in steel production

«Северсталь» сообщает об увеличении производства стали

Russian steelmaker Severstal, one of the country's largest steel producers, said Thursday that crude steel production rose 2% quarter-on-quarter to 3.06 million tonnes.

Steel sales were 2.71 million tonnes, down 5% from the previous quarter. This was due to short-term repair work on the rolling mills, the company said.
