General indicators of mining and smelting production in September and for 9 months of 2018. According to the updated data, in September 2018 the following were produced: 1.67 million tons of pig iron, 1.79 million tons, 1.56 million tons of rolled metal.
For 9 months of 2018, mining and metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine produced: 44.95 million tons of iron ore concentrate; 23.40 million tons of sinter; 16.00 million tonnes of pellets; 8.03 million tons of coke; 15.30 million tons of pig iron; 15.77 million tons of steel; 13.83 million tons of rolled metal; 831 thousand tons of pipe products.
