The US Department of Commerce said China and India subsidized large diameter welded steel pipes supplied to the United States.
The department found that the two countries were selling pipes below fair value at rates ranging from 50.55 to 132.63 percent.
In August, the US Department of Commerce in a preliminary announcement determined that the United States was dumping large-diameter welded pipes at low cost from six countries, including China and India.
Two months ago, the department imposed provisional duties, which for India ranged up to more than 500 percent.
In 2017, large-diameter welded pipes imported from China and India were valued at approximately $ 29.2 million and $ 294.7 million, respectively, the Commerce Department said.
