The General Director of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ambassador of Belarus to Ukraine and the Mayor of Kryvyi Rih have opened a museum of mining equipment.
The open-air museum of mining equipment for all residents and guests of the city. Its opening was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol and General Director of the BelAZ company Petr Parkhomchik. The ceremony was opened by the General Director of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" Paramzhit Kalon. Mayor Yury Vilkul, heads of city enterprises, veterans and employees of the mining department of the enterprise also took part in it.
The exposition includes 14 exhibits that were previously operated by miners in various divisions of the enterprise, stands with information about the work of the mining department, as well as the walk of fame of its best workers.
Among the main production exhibits are a 180-ton diesel locomotive, a 45-ton BelAZ, a 14-ton electric locomotive and even a covered wagon produced in the 50s of the last century. Ore-dressing factories No. 1 and No. 2 provided pumps and a drum-separator with a bath for the museum exposition. A 20-ton truck crane, a long-length crane, an 18-ton crane and other overall equipment of the enterprise and contractors were used to transport the exhibits.
At the opening ceremony, the best workers of the mining department were awarded and the keys from four new BelAZ trucks were handed over by representatives of the manufacturing company. Then all those present were invited to the first tour of the museum.
