Results of metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in October and for 10 months

MMC's performance indicators in October 2018 are as follows:
Pig iron production amounted to 1.79 million tons, up 7% compared to September last year;
Steel production remained at the level of the previous year and amounted to 1.79 million tons;
Rolled steel output fell 2% to 1.53 million tonnes.

During 10 months of 2018, it was produced:
50.1 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate, down 0.03% compared to the same period in 2017.
26.3 million tonnes of sinter, up 4%;
17.74 million tonnes of pellets, up 7%;
17.09 million tons of pig iron, up 7%;
17.56 million tons of steel, up 2%;
15.36 million tonnes of rolled products - an increase of 4%;
942 thousand tons of pipe products - an increase of 8%, respectively.

As of November 14, 2018, of the main operating production facilities, 19 out of 21 blast furnaces, 8 out of 9 open-hearth furnaces, 12 out of 16 converters, 6 out of 15 electric furnaces and 13 out of 14 continuous casting machines are in operation.

In December 2018, the production of the main types of products is projected in the following quantities: pig iron - about 1.8 million tons, steel - 1.8 million tons, rolled products - 1.6 million tons.
