PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" continues to receive supplies of new heavy-duty equipment from the company "BelAZ". The company recently purchased four new dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 136 tons, two irrigation machines and a bulldozer - UAH 162.5 million was allocated for their purchase in 2018.
The fleet of heavy vehicles was half renovated in 2016–2017, when the company acquired 22 heavy vehicles, investing $ 24 million in their purchase. In 2019–2023, the company plans to purchase another 8 large-capacity BelAZ vehicles.
General Director of BelAZ Petr Parkhomchik said: “We plan to expand the geography of our supplies to ArcelorMittal enterprises - to send dump trucks not only to Ukraine for its enterprises in Krivoy Rog and Berislav, but also to Kazakhstan, Poland, Mexico and other countries. To this end, we plan to sign an agreement with ArcelorMittal, which will stipulate our relations with an international corporation - now a basic document is being prepared. "
In addition, “after the completion of operational tests, we will be able to offer unmanned mining dump trucks to Ukrainian enterprises - robotics, I am sure, is the future. In addition, we are developing machines that run on liquefied gas, storage batteries and others. I think that in 2-3 years we will be able to significantly expand our line of sales in Ukraine, ”he said.
