ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih raises wages to its employees

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the largest enterprise in the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine, has been raising the salaries of all its employees and employees of its subsidiaries by an average of 15% since May 1, and up to 20% for certain professions.

Last year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih raised salaries twice - in May and October. In addition, he raised the salaries of a significant part of the personnel during the transition to a multi-level (salary) remuneration system. As a result, from November 2017 to December 2018, the average salary at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 43.4%. The salary growth of the main technological personnel involved in key redistributions turned out to be even higher. In addition, this week the employees of the enterprise received their 13th salary, and it was also announced that from May the amount of wages increased by an average of 15%.

Yulia Chermazovich, acting Director of the Human Resources Department of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih:

- We revise salaries annually taking into account the results of the previous year. It turned out to be difficult for us in terms of production and financial results. Nevertheless, the company's management decided to support the labor collective in this difficult socio-economic situation in Ukraine. The amount of the increase was determined based on the results of negotiations with the trade unions and taking into account the previous increase in wages. We hope that this year we will be able to cope with all the tasks set - to ensure the stable operation of the enterprise and the implementation of the investment program, to improve our financial indicators, which are necessary, among other things, for further salary growth.
